what have you done?

Yesterday, we "lived in a perfect world"
Yesterday, we said
Because our eyes looked at our souls
And you didn't look at me truthfully.

Tomorrow shall be a new day, a new dawn in my universe,
Tomorrow I will not see your name written between my verses,
I will not listen to words of regret,
I will painlessly ignore your remorse.
